Inaugural launches 2018-2022 King council

It was an incredible night that was shared with family and friends. I would just like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for their support. I look forward to representing Ward 1 this term with the highest standards of integrity, responsibility and work ethic. I will continue to champion the issues I worked hard to promote during the campaign. I will fight for lowering property tax and water bills. I will fight to get investment in our infrastructure from the Township, Region and Province. I will fight to make our residential roadways safe for all to use and crack down on commuters speeding recklessly through!

I ask all residents of Ward 1 for their support and openness as we move forward together.

With all the pomp and ceremony fitting a regal event, officials christened King’s new building, and its new council Dec. 3.

“King has become a leader for other municipalities. We are the benchmark for great government, great community living and great business.”

Ward 1 Councillor Jordan Cescolini thanked his volunteers, friends and family for their support. Anything worth doing is difficult, he said, but his election bodes well for the future of democracy and youth engagement in King. He thanked constituents for putting their faith in the unknown and he said he’s here to listen and be their voice in Ward 1. He wants to ensure residents he’s bringing value for their tax dollars and he’s here to “make real change that has a lasting impact.”
