Fuel Spill near Burton Grove, King City

There was a fuel spill that happened on Tues., February 5 near Burton Grove, King City. King Township staff are working with officials from York Region and the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) to clean up gasoline that made its way into the storm sewer system near Burton Grove in King City.

The priority has been to eliminate the odour and remove as much of the spill as possible from the storm sewer system and surrounding environment as well as determine the exact source of the gasoline.
