FINAL Parks, Recreation & Culture Master Plan, Parks & Forestry Services

Staff Recommendations as followed:

a) That report PRC-2019-19 be received as information; and

b) That the FINAL Parks, Recreation & Culture Master Plan, Parks & Forestry Services, included as Appendix ‘A’ be endorsed by Council, subject to comments received;

c) That the FINAL Parks, Recreation & Culture Master Plan, Facilities Services, included as Appendix ‘B’ be endorsed by Council, subject to comments received.

I am happy to see the Master Plans are being finalized and endorsed by Council. These plans will provide a roadmap for our decision making for the next 5 years. It was encouraging to see that over 700 submissions and comments were made and that many stakeholders were consulted in the process.

I promised to increase recreational activities for all residents in Ward 1.

I encourage all residents to read and give me feedback on this report so I can be represent all residents. I truly believe Ward 1 is getting a great variety of projects.
