Through a resolution, Council has withdrawn support for the GTA West Highway. Councillor Schaefer brought forward the resolution and I seconded it. The concerns regarding agriculture impact, protection of the greenbelt, and heritage features have been highlighted in by this resolution. Council unanimously supported the resolution.
Notice of Motion 8.1 highlights the resolution. The current withdrawal of support and any future shift into the Township of King, opposing of advancement of construction, and the full support for a Federal Environmental Assessment (EA).
