I was honoured to go to the official topping off ceremony with the Honourable Christine Elliot, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health and Long-Term Care.
Topping off signifies that Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital has reached the highest point of construction. Thus, is a transformative milestone brings Vaughan’s new hospital one step closer to its completion, scheduled for late 2020.
“The topping off for the Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital is an example of the hard work, collaboration and commitment the City of Vaughan continues to undertake to deliver modern front-line health care. Pouring one of the last concrete slabs signifies that Vaughan’s new hospital is well on its way to providing invaluable medical care and treatment for people here at home and across the region."
